How to Break the Ice: Angry Intimacy

What is it that causes a person to react out of anger? The cause of anger and abuse can be as simple as a person’s single-minded desire to win an argument or as complex as the inability to accept responsibility for a mistake or wrong judgment. Taking guilt to an unhealthy extreme (not being able to admit being in the wrong when they are), can cause people to lash out in anger at their accusers. A third cause is the inability of some people to see another’s point of view or to perceive a question from all sides. This inability to see situations in perspective can force this type of person into an aggressive response.
