Embracing the Voice of Our Inner Critic

Most people know the voice of an inner critic. The inner mind that tells us that we’re not doing well enough and that we’re going to fail if we keep on the way we’re going. We usually respond to this internal chastisement in a few different ways, either accepting it and adjusting while being ashamed, arguing with it, or just ignoring it and trying to move forward. These may be common responses, but they aren’t always going to be the most effective. An alternative is to embrace that inner voice as you embrace your entire self.
