Forget Balance…Try Harmony Instead

If yourself burning the candle at both ends, the person driving you to that behavior is probably not your boss. At the end of the day, you make the decisions about how you spend your time, and rushing through everyday activities is the fastest way to miss something important. Life and business can more accurately be described as a marathon than a sprint. The essence of harmony lies in all things working together: work, family, recreation, spiritual pursuits, education, etc. In then end, when you cannot have it all, the key is to consciously choose where to spend your time, do your best, and be satisfied with the activity rather than obsessing about results.
