Five Tips for Empowered Living

The quickest path to disempowerment is giving our power away to others by placing blame and denying our own accountability. When we take responsibility for our actions and claim ownership of our lives, we can deal with challenges much more effectively. Stress, however, will persist no matter how responsible we are. Here are some tips to get through the rough patches. First, breathe! It will slow you down and keep you present and grounded. Then identify your feelings. You need to know exactly what you are reacting to before you can disengage from harmful patterns of behavior.
