Fearless People Greet Fear at the Door

Even the most poised and polished people have moments of utter fear. They have made a mistake and they are scared they will do it again; they have encountered something terrifying and they are worried it will come back, etc. But while running and hiding in fear may be our natural, knee-jerk impulse, it does not help us face that fear. In fact, cowering in the corner often makes that fear take on epic proportions. Facing your fear, on the other hand, shines a light into those dark and scary corners, and it illuminates the understanding that you are bigger than your terrors.
